8th-grade students are paired with a Chesterton Knight to experience our engaging classes, unique Socratic seminar, and participate in fun activities that highlight our classical curriculum. The day begins at 8AM with Mass and ends at 2:50PM. All prospective students are required to shadow before applying to Chesterton Academy.

Come and see our Classical Catholic education in action! Parents and their 7th and 8th-grade students are invited to visit Chesterton Academy for a day of discovery—sit in on live classes, meet our Headmaster, talk with passionate teachers, and hear from students who love learning in a joyful, faith-filled environment. Discover how our curriculum shapes hearts and minds for Christ. Discovery Days are held on October 16th, November 20th, January 29th, and April 8th.
Step into the world of classical Catholic education with Odyssey Day, a dynamic and interactive experience designed just for 8th-grade students! This special event invites future scholars to spend a half day at our high school, discovering what makes our community unique through fun, hands-on activities rooted in faith, reason, and friendship.
Join us for a special opportunity to meet with our Headmaster, Academic Dean, and Admissions Team to learn how Chesterton Academy can support your student’s smooth and successful transition into high school.
In this relaxed and informative session, we’ll discuss our time-tested classical curriculum, faith-centered community, and personalized approach to welcoming new students. Whether your student is coming from a public, private, or homeschool setting, we are here to partner with you every step of the way. All prospective families should schedule a Meet & Greet after an application has been submitted and before the student is accepted.
Chesterton Academy of Buffalo accepts applications for both freshmen and transfer students on a rolling basis. To be considered for merit-based scholarships and to maximize eligibility for financial aid, we strongly encourage submitting your application by January 31. Applications can be completed online or downloaded and mailed directly to the school.
During the application process, our Headmaster or Admissions Director will meet one-on-one with you and your student to develop a customized academic plan, explain the enrollment process and answer any questions you may have. Please click on the button below to apply today.
A $250 registration fee is required for each new or returning student and is applied toward the annual tuition of $9,100. To ensure your spot and have the fee credited toward tuition, please complete your enrollment—including submission of the form and payment—by March 1st. All materials can be submitted conveniently online.

Students will be invited to compete for a $1,000 4-year scholarship offered to one incoming freshman that achieved high honors in both 7th and 8th grade (as indicated on official school transcript), submitted a superior writing sample and applied prior to January 31st.
